PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Hockey East Association announced on Friday (Nov. 1) that Providence College's
Jack Dugan (Rochester, N.Y.) was named the Hockey East Player of the Month for October.
Dugan leads the NCAA in scoring through six games with 14 points on four goals and a nation-high 10 assists. He earned Hockey East Player of the Week honors earlier this week for his five-point weekend against Boston College and UMass Lowell. Dugan has recorded at least two points in five of six games this season and has three performances of at least three points. He was a two-time Hockey East Rookie of the Month and a member of the Hockey East All-Rookie Team as a freshman in 2018-19.
Providence concludes its three-game homestand this weekend against Colgate (Nov. 1) and Boston College (Nov. 2).
