PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College's
Jack Dugan (Rochester, N.Y.) was named the Hockey East Player of the Week in an announcement made by the league on Monday (Oct. 28).
Dugan led all Hockey East players this past week in points (5) and assists (4). The sophomore tallied three points on a goal and two assists in a 6-2 win at Boston College on Friday night before adding two assists against UMass Lowell on Saturday night. Dugan leads the entire NCAA in scoring with 14 points and also leads in assists with 10.
Providence concludes its three-game homestand this weekend against Colgate (Nov. 1) and Boston College (Nov. 2).
