Midland Roofing Co., Providence Friars Announce New Relationship

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College Athletics and its multimedia rights holder, Providence Friars Sports Properties, announced today that Midland Roofing will serve as presenting sponsor to the "Protect the House" moment of dominance during all home games for men's basketball and hockey at the Dunkin' Donuts Center and Schneider Arena, respectively.
This marks the first time the North Kingston-based business will embark on a college sports sponsorship. Midland Roofing owners Dennis and Susan Wyatt are Providence College alumni, and their family-owned business has served customers throughout Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts since 1975.
"We're excited to support our alma mater and the Friars' overall athletics programming over the next two seasons," said Dennis Wyatt. "We have had the privilege of serving this community for over 40 years, and it will be fun to have Midland Roofing be associated with the energetic 'Raise the Roof' and 'Protect this House' fan hype moments during basketball and hockey games. As a Friars' corporate partner, Midland Roofing will have visibility on the official athletics website, Friars.com and on men's basketball radio broadcasts, as well as in-venue recognition during the men's basketball regular season.
