PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College Athletics announced today (Oct. 4) that NBC Sports Boston, the broadcast home of the Boston Celtics will televise 11 men's hockey home games during the 2018-19 season. Eight of the 11 games will be shown live, while the remaining three games with be tape delayed following the conclusion of Celtics coverage.
The network initially began its partnership with Providence College hockey last season when they aired four games, including both Hockey East Quarterfinal games against Maine last March. Coverage on NBC Sports Boston begins on opening night against American International College this Saturday (Oct. 6) via tape delay at approximately 11 p.m.
All home games will be streamed online at
Friars All-Access for a monthly fee.
