PROVIDENCE, R.I.– Providence College Athletics Director Bob Driscoll, men's basketball Head Coach Ed Cooley and women's basketball Head Coach Jim Crowley have made the decision to cancel the College's annual Late Night Madness celebration due to the death of a Providence College student last night. The group agreed that out of respect for his family, the celebration should be canceled.  The 2018 Late Night Madness at Providence College was scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 13.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family," said Driscoll. "Our campus community is grieving and out of respect for the young man and his family, we have made the appropriate decision to cancel late night madness."
