Women's Tennis Topped By Creighton, 6-1

ORLANDO, FLA. -
The Providence College women's tennis team played in their first BIG EAST match of the season against Creighton University at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. on Wednesday, March 8. The Bluejays outpaced the Friars, 6-1.
The sole point for the Friars came in a three-set battle from senior Amanda Pitocco (Warwick, R.I.) in no. 2 doubles, 4-6, 6-3, 10-7.
Providence College returns to action on Saturday, March 11 in Cambridge, Mass. against Harvard University. The match is set to begin at 4:00 p.m. ET.
