Women's Tennis Sweeps Holy Cross, 7-0

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -
The Providence College women's tennis team swept all seven points against the Holy Cross Crusaders on Oct. 6 in Providence, R.I.
This victory marked the second consecutive win for Risa Takenaka (Saint Charles, Mo.) in No. 1 singles play.
Other singles wins came from Amanda Pitocco (Warwick, R.I.), Katherine DeNucci (Glastonbury, Conn.), Aidan Epstein (Fairway, Kan.), Natalie Pitocco (Warwick, R.I.) and Annie DaSilva (East Greenwich, R.I.) in No. 2 through No. 6 singles.
The Friars also earned the doubles point, sweeping all three doubles matches against the crusaders.
The Providence College Friars return to action at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston R.I. on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 3:30 p.m. ET.
