Season Ticket Holder Party

Aug. 28, 2015 PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College Athletics Department will host its annual season ticket holder appreciation party, which is sponsored by Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, on Friday, September 11 from 5-8 p.m. The speaking portion of the program will begin at 6:15 p.m. The festivities will be taking place on the Slavin Center lawn on the campus of Providence College.

The party is open to all Friar season ticket holders for men's basketball, men's hockey and women's basketball. Fans interested in attending that have not purchased season tickets can still buy season tickets at friars.com, by calling 401-865-GOPC or visiting the Providence College ticket office.

Fans also can view the taping of the Ed Cooley Radio Show. The show will be taped from 5:00-6:00 p.m. in the Slavin Center Atrium. The Ed Cooley Radio Show is hosted by the voice of the Friars John Rooke.

The campus will be buzzing with athletic events as at 3:00 p.m. the Field Hockey team will be hosting Maine on Lennon Family Field. The Friar Volleyball team will be hosting its 11th Annual Friar Classic in Alumni Hall and the BIG EAST Champion Men's Soccer team will be hosting Brown at 7:00 p.m. on Ray Treacy Track and Field.

Season ticket holders will have the opportunity to meet the players, take a picture with the Men's Hockey National Championship Trophy, enjoy dinner and hear from the Providence College coaches. A full buffet dinner will be served and there will be a cash bar.
