Ticket Office How To: Ticket Transfer
2/17/2015 12:00:00 AM | Tickets
There are few things worse than looking at your weekend calendar to realize your ski trip, which has been in the works for months, falls on the same weekend as the next Friars home game. You have friends or family that would love to use the seats, but there is no time to get the hard tickets to them before your leave. What to do?
You may not know it, but our season ticket holders have the benefit of being able to electronically transfer their tickets to anyone you want, up to 4 hours prior to game time. The process is fairly simple, and in less than 5 minutes you can make sure the Friars are getting the support they need as we try and win another BIG EAST Championship.
- In order to transfer your tickets, here's what you need to do:
- In the `Sport Links' drop down menu above, click `Transfer Tickets' under the Quick Links category
- Log in to your account using your email address and password. If you can't remember your log in information, you can either use the forgot password functionality or give the ticket office a call at 401-865-4672 to Find the game and seat you want to send the tickets for, and click transfer underneath the team logo.
- Select the exact seats you want to send from the selection, enter the information of the person you are going to send your tickets to and pick whether you or your recipient will pay the $1.00 ticket transfer fee.
Once you hit confirm, your friend should receive an email within 15 minutes or so that will have the instructions on how they can accept the transferred ticket. Your recipient will have 24 hours to complete the transaction, and transfers can be completed up until 4 hours prior to game time, when we need to send our barcodes to the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
Online ticket transfer is one of the ways we hope we can help you to get the most out of your season tickets and give the team the support they need on the court. Coach always says that the support from our fans gives our team a huge home court advantage, so let's make the Dunk one of the most difficult buildings in the country to play in!
