Men's Basketball Ranked No. 14 In Polls

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE December 14, 2015 PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Providence College men's basketball team is ranked No. 14 in the Associated Press Poll and the most recent USA Today Coaches Poll. Both polls were released today (December 14). For the third consecutive week, the Friars have moved up in the national polls. Last week, the Friars were ranked No. 15 in the Associated Press Poll and No. 18 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

The Friars have posted a 10-1 mark overall. Last week, the team registered wins over Boston College, 66-51, on Dec. 9 and Bryant, 74-67, on Dec. 12.

Providence will return to action on Saturday, December 19 versus Rider at the Dunkin' Donuts Center at 8 p.m. on Fox Sports Net/OSN.
