PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College Athletic Department is excited to announce Friar First Night. The event will take place on Wednesday, December 31 when the men's basketball team hosts Creighton at 7:30 p.m. at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
The event will feature a photo booth, face painting, balloon animals and a BIG EAST Championship rematch. The first 2,000 fans to enter the arena will receive a Commemorative BIG EAST Championship Pennant.

Come to the game and be part of the New Year's Eve Tip Off Marathon on FOX Sports 1. All 10 BIG EAST teams will be competing during the marathon. The last time the Friars played Creighton was in the BIG EAST Tournament Championship game where the Friars captured their second BIG EAST title with a 65-58 win over the Blue Jays.
The last time the Blue Jays visited the Dunkin' Donuts Center, the Friars earned an 81-68 win on January 18, 2014.
