PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's swimming and diving fell to the Rhode Island Rams 153-123 at Taylor Natatorium on Tuesday, Nov. 12.

Freshman Katherine Fallon (Warren, N.J.) earned three first-place finishes. In the 1500m freestyle, she finished in 17:53.79, smashing the school record by 17.18 seconds. She also earned first in the 400m freestyle (4:32.32) and the 100m IM (1:11.61). Senior Leia Federiconi (Williamsville, N.Y.) took first in the 50m breaststroke (34.91). In the 1m diving event, sophomore Sarah Burrous (Methuen, Mass.) earned 210.15 points to take first place.

This meet marked the fifth annual Pink Out between the two teams. The proceeds from the meet will be donated to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation. The Friars will compete next on Saturday, Nov. 15 when they travel to Worcester, Mass. to take on the Coast Guard Academy & WPI at 1 p.m.
