Athletic Department Holds Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Party

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - On Wednesday, Sept. 11 the Providence College Athletic Department hosted the fourth annual season ticket holder appreciation party on the Slavin Center lawn on the Providence College campus. More than 800 attended and heard from BIG EAST Commissioner Val Ackerman, PC Athletics Director Bob Driscoll, College President Rev. Brian Shanley and men's basketball Head Coach Ed Cooley.

The event was developed as a way to show appreciation for each of the College's season ticket holders. It also provided fans the ability to meet members of the coaching staff and select members of the men's basketball team in a casual setting. Members of the ticket office also were on hand to help with ticket renewals and purchases.
