Marcus Blossom Named Associate Athletic Director

PROVIDENCE R.I.- - It was announced today (August 16) that Marcus Blossom has been named the Associate Athletic Director for Business at Providence College. Blossom replaces Mac Hart, who resigned last month.
Blossom comes to Providence College after spending the last two years as the Associate Athletic Director for Finance at Brown University. While at Brown, Blossom developed, analyzed and monitored the annual budget for athletics, as well as implemented new marketing and ticketing strategies for the University. Prior to his work at Brown, Marcus was employed by the NCAA in Championships and Administrative Services. He also served as the Athletic Business Manager at Central Michigan University and as a financial analyst at Abbott Laboratories.
Blossom is currently a member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics and the Collegiate Athletic Business Managers Association.
Blossom earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at Northeastern University and earned a Master's Degree in Sport Management from West Virginia University. While earning his undergraduate degree at Northeastern University, Blossom was a three-time GTE District I Academic All-American and three-time All-Conference selection in men's basketball. While playing basketball at Northeastern, Blossom registered career stats of 13.3 ppg, 2.5 apg, and 3.8 rpg.
