The Providence College strength and conditioning coaches have established a summer tradition, by hosting voluntary turf workouts. The workouts, which were originally held each Friday during summer, have been divided into a women's session (Thursday nights) and a men's session (Friday mornings). The popularity and high attendance figures at the workouts have prompted the split, allowing for a top-notch experience for all participants.

The full-body workouts target all components of sports performance, including speed, agility, explosiveness, power, conditioning, teamwork and competition. The workouts are open to all Providence College student-athletes in all varsity sports.

On Friday, July 13, the workout was attended by the male student-athletes. A small sample of action photography from the session is available by clicking the Photo Gallery link at the top of the page.
