Providence College Diving Competes At The BIG EAST Championships

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Providence College diving team has begun competing at the BIG EAST Diving Championships hosted by the University of Pittsburgh.

Junior Allie Black (Mystic, Conn.) took 16th place with 217.90 points in the preliminary round. Black's score allowed her to advance to the consolation round where she collected 216.50 points. Junior Ben Kardian (Valhalla, N.Y.) will compete today in the 1m and 3m diving championships.

The BIG EAST Diving Championships concludes on Sunday, February 12. The University of Pittsburgh will also host the BIG EAST Championships for Swimming beginning Wednesday, February 15 and run through Saturday, February 18.
