LaDontae Henton Named To BIG EAST Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - It was announced today (Dec. 10) that Providence College sophomore forward LaDontae Henton (Lansing, Mich.) was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll.
Henton recorded his fourth double-double of the season when he scored 21 points and grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds in the team's only game of the week, a 72-57 win over Rhode Island on Dec. 6. He also added four steals, was 3-3 from the free-throw line and 9-16 (56.3 percent) from the field while playing all 40 minutes of the game. Henton ranks third on the team in scoring (16.9 ppg) and leads the team in rebounding (8.1 rpg).
The Friars, 7-2, return to action on Tuesday, Dec. 18 versus Colgate at 7:00 p.m. at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
