Providence College Women's Hockey Holds Annual Alumni Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -
The Providence College women's ice hockey team will hold its annual alumnae weekend Oct. 20-21. Along with the traditional alumnae game, there is a weekend of events planned:
Saturday, Oct. 20
10:00am - Friar 5K followed by the Annual Friar Fan Fest
2:00pm - Come to Schneider Arena to watch PC Women's Hockey vs. Vermont
Sunday, Oct. 21
9:00 am - Coffee and light refreshments to be served outside the locker room
10:00 am - Annual Alumnae Game
12:00 pm - Post-game luncheon will be held in the Leary Friends of Friar Hockey Room
2:00 pm - The puck drops for the Vermont vs. Providence game
4:00 pm - Skate with the Friars following the game
The cost for the festivities on Sunday is $35.00 per person. Registration for the Friar 5K is a separate cost, see link below. There are rooms available at Hampton Inn & Suites (2100 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886). Call the hotel at 401-739-8888 and ask for the "Providence College Room Rate". Two options for room type and pricing will be provided: $99 for 1 king bed or 2 queen beds or $109 for a suite which includes 1 king bed (in a separate room) with a living room and pull out couch and kitchenette.
