Fans,
The Providence College Athletic Department held its 50th annual All-Sports Gala on Tuesday, April 26. The Gala, which was held on the lower quad and the Smith Center for the Arts, served as a celebration for all our 2010-11 varsity athletic teams. The event was especially exciting for me, as I got a chance to recognize each of our teams and congratulate some of our top student-athletes. This year, I focused my talk around the idea of living in the moment and not taking anything for granted. In order to drive the point home to our coaches, staff and student-athletes, an inspirational, heart-warming video was shown. I encourage you to watch the video and remember that there is no day but today.
