Providence College Teams Up With Dexter Credit Union

Providence, R.I.- The Providence College Athletic Department and Dexter Credit Union teamed up for the second straight year to host the Johnston High School Finance Academy on campus and instructed on the importance of education and team work. As part of the PC's continued support of the community, coaches and players of the men's basketball, women's ice hockey and women's volleyball team spoke to the high school students about the importance of education and how it can provide new opportunities in their lives. Students were able to hear first-hand life lessons about how education was pivotal in PC's coaches' and players' success and that the students need to dedicate themselves to their studies.
