PROVIDENCE, R.I. -

The Providence College Athletic Department welcomed Anthony DiPetrillo and his family on Thursday, September 2, to dedicate the Carmine and Raphael DiPetrillo Head Training Room. DePetrillo named the office in remembrance of his parents.

DiPetrillo's generous, $150,000 gift allowed the department to build a brand new training office in the Canavan Sports Medicine Center for Head Trainer John Rock.

Athletics Director Bob Driscoll, Men's Basketball Head Coach Keno Davis and former Friar great Joe Hassett joined DiPetrillo to commemorate the occasion and tour the new facilities.

"Due to Anthony's generosity we were able to build a first-class facility for our student-athletes and staff, alike." Driscoll said.
