Friar Fans,
Monday was a great night to be a Friar! The Providence College Athletic Department successfully held the 49th annual Sports Gala last night on campus at the Smith Center for the Arts.
I would like to congratulate all of our student-athletes for helping us cap-off an exciting year here in Friartown. It was great to see all of our student-athletes and coaches celebrate the athletic year and the various individual and team accomplishments.
I also want to send out a special thank you to all of our graduating student-athletes who will be leaving us in May. Your contributions to Friar Athletics have set the new standard for sportsmanship and competition.
The great sense of community and camaraderie that filled the Smith Center last night amongst the student-athletes makes me proud to be a Friar!
