Providence College Athletics Department Announces Upcoming Golf Tournaments

The Providence College Athletic Department has released dates of the upcoming Athletic Golf Tournaments.
The third Annual Friar Field Hockey Golf Outing will be held on Saturday, April 24 at the Cranston Country Club. All proceeds will go directly to support the women's field hockey program. The entry fee is $125 per person and $100 for recent graduates (Classes '05-'09) and current students. Registration fee includes buffet lunch, greens fees, golf cart, tournament gift and a BBQ dinner. In addition, please join us on Sunday, April 25 at 1:00 p.m. for the annual field hockey alumni game.
On Sunday, April 25, the men's soccer team will hold its First Annual Friends of Friar Soccer Golf outing at the Cranston Country Club. All proceeds from the tournament will go directly to the men's soccer program. The entry fee is $150 per golfer and $600 per foursome. The registration fee includes lunch, range balls, 18 holes of golf with a cart, player gifts and a dinner reception. In addition, the annual men's soccer alumni game will be held on Saturday, April 24th at 3:00 p.m. on the campus of Providence College.
The Dexter Credit Union Women's Ice Hockey Sixth Annual Alumni Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, May 8 at the Cranston Country Club. All proceeds from this event will benefit the women's ice hockey program. Registration fee includes buffet lunch, greens fees, golf cart, tournament gift and a BBQ dinner. The entry fee is $150 per golfer and $100 for recent graduates (classes '05-'09) and current students.
The Cox Sports Friar Golf Classic will be held on Monday, June 7 at the Warwick Country Club. All proceeds will go directly to the Friar Athletic Fund which supports all 19 division-1 varsity sports. The entry fee is $500 per person and $2,000 per foursome. This includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, pre-play lunch, beverages during golf, prizes and gifts, dinner reception and awards.
The Men's Ice Hockey Annual Alumni Golf Outing will be held on Monday, August 16 at the Pawtucket Country Club. All proceeds will go directly towards the men's hockey program. The entry fee is $250 per golfer and $100 for young alumni (Classes '05-'09) and current students. Registration fee includes a BBQ lunch, greens fees, golf cart, tournament gift and dinner. If you can not make it back to Rhode Island and still want to participate, you may purchase a $100 tee sign or sponsor a Young Alumni round of golf for $100. Tee-signs are 100% tax deductible.
