Providence College Holds 3rd Annual Student-Athlete Career Night

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - On Thursday, October 28 the Providence College Athletics Department held the third Annual Providence College Student-Athlete Career Night. The event which was held on campus at `64 Hall was sponsored by donors Yvette Boisclair `84 and Mark Mandell for the third consecutive year. The event gives student-athletes an opportunity to have dinner and network with working professionals in a field which they may hope to pursue a career. Over 30 guest mentors from a variety of fields including; athletic administration, marketing, education, finance, graphic design, medical and law were available for the 110 student-athletes to talk to. The event was highlighted by guest speaker Jay Williams. Williams a former All-American basketball player and Naismith College Player of the Year at Duke University talked to students about following their career dreams and valuing each moment.
