Providence College Set To Unveil Newly Redesigned Friars.com

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College Department of Athletics in partnerships with CBS College Sports will be unveiling the Friars' new and improved athletic web site at www.Friars.com. The re-designed site is scheduled to be released on Tuesday, September 15.
The site will feature enhanced navigation, tools and improved multimedia content in a more streamlined, user-friendly design. The site will continue to provide updated information on each of Providence College's 19 varsity athletic programs, including general releases, results, game recaps, statistics, photography and archives. The department also plans to expand its current All-Access content, which gives users the opportunity to watch and listen to video and audio of select athletic events, as well as in-depth interviews with coaches and student-athletes.
Friars.com also serves as the department's official online auction site, where Friar fans can bid on memorabilia, game-worn uniforms and experiences.
Additionally, the new-and-improved Friars.com gives users the opportunity to utilize a variety of social networking tools, such as Twitter and Facebook. The site also is compatable with a variety of mobile devices that are designed to connect to the internet via a wireless carrier.
Lastly, Friars.com is home to the department's official online store, where you can purchase a variety of Providence College athletics apparel with your favorite sport in mind.
