Providence Tennis Swept at Albany

The Providence College tennis team (0-2) traveled to Albany, N.Y. on Friday, February 6 to take on the University at Albany. The Friars suffered their second sweep of the spring season, falling to the Great Danes, 7-0.
Senior Ashley Rissolo (Southport, Conn.) and junior Jen Cusack (Bayport, N.Y.) competed in the closest match of the day, an 8-3 loss in the No. 2 doubles position. Albany's Charlotte Tatler and Holly Smith defeated the pair. Tatler went on to sweep senior Meghan Gilroy (Fairfield, Conn.), 6-0, 6-0, in the No. 3 singles spot.
The Friars continue their stay in Albany to play a neutral-site match against St. Bonaventure on Sunday, February 8. The match is set for a 9:00 a.m. start.
