Dear Friar Fans,
Last night, we held our annual donor thank you reception at Warwick Country Club. It was a great celebration to thank our coaches, student-athletes, administration and most importantly our donors for helping us raise a new record of $2.3 million for PC Athletic fundraising. The night included a full buffet served by the Capital Grille with memorable speeches by two student-athletes, Brittany Simpson from Women's Ice Hockey and Jeff Xavier of Men's Basketball. Each one expressed what it meant to be a Friar and how grateful they are for the generosity of our donors. They have witnessed firsthand how the generosity of our donors transformed their experience and facilities such as the Concannon Fitness Center, the Canavan Sports Medicine Center, and the Jimmy Walker Varsity Weight Room.
