Providence College Hires Sarah Gwizdowski as Head Cheerleading Coach

Providence College announced the hiring of Sarah Gwizdowski as the head cheerleading coach. Gwizdowski, a 2007 graduate of Virginia Tech, earned a bachelor of science degree in management and a minor in real estate. While at Virginia Tech, Gwizdowski was a member of the nationally ranked Hokie cheerleading squad which reached the number 5 spot in Division 1-A at nationals in 2006. During her junior year, the successful squad was featured on CBS.
Gwizdowski cheered in numerous football bowl games, as well as NCAA basketball tournament games throughout her four years at Virginia Tech. She was honored with the Virginia Tech Athletics All-Academic Award.
Gwizdowski earned valuable coaching experience while working at National Cheerleading Association summer camps throughout the east coast, including camps in Virginia and Maryland.
