PROVIDENCE, RI - Providence College and CollegeSports.com have teamed up to relaunch Friars.com (www.Friars.com), the official site of Providence College athletics. The site contains features and applications that will bring Friars' alumni and fans closer than ever to their favorite teams and student-athletes. CollegeSports.com is a business unit of CSTV: College Sports Television (www.collegesports.com), the home of college sports.
"We are excited about the relaunch of Friars.com," said Bob Driscoll, Director of Athletics for Providence College. "I believe our fans will enjoy the new look of the Friars.com and many of the fan friendly features."

Online Store - Online outlet where fans and alumni can purchase official Providence College licensed products
Enhanced navigation, graphics and design - enabling fans to move about the site quickly and easily with a crisper cleaner layout and tabbed sections
News - Updates fans with the latest news regarding all aspects of Providence athletics, with rotating headlines and masthead photos
Wide Photo - layout of the homepage gives fans the option to view the site's top story with a vertical or wide photo template.
Rosters, schedules and statistics - for all men's and women's team.
College Sports Pass - Allows the most fervent Providence Friars' supporters to follow their teams and others with exclusive game audio/video. Fans also gain access to webcasts of coaches' shows and interviews that are not available to the general public.
