PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Tuukka Kotti scored 12 of his 15 points in the final 25 minutes to help lead Providence past Seton Hall 64-61 in overtime.
Sheiku Kabba added 10 points and Ryan Gomes recorded his 13th double-double this season with 12 points and 10 rebounds for Providence (15-12, 8-8 Big East).
Greg Morton and Andre Sweet each had 14 for Seton Hall (16-11, 10-6).
Seton Hall trailed by as many as 11 points in the first half and 29-22 at halftime. But the Pirates shot nearly 61 percent in the second half to tie the game four times. Seton Hall took a four-point lead on a 10-footer by John Allen with 8:58 left in the second half.
The lead went back and forth for the remainder of regulation until Gomes made two free throws with 37.6 seconds left. Sweet put the game into overtime with a layup with 15.2 seconds remaining.
The Friars' only shot from the field in overtime - a 3-pointer by Kabba - came with 3:19 remaining. But Providence made 5-for-10 from the foul line in the extra session, and held Seton Hall to just 2-for-7 shooting. Marcus Douthit blocked two Pirate shots in the game's waning moments.
