The Providence College women's ice hockey team fell to the No. 6 spot in the USCHO.com poll and to the No. 7 spot in the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine Poll this week.
The Friars moved down to No. 6/No. 7 after losing their only game last week to No. 2 Dartmouth, 7-2, on October 31. In both polls the top four teams retained their ranking, while several of the remaining six teams switched spots. In the USCHO.com poll St. Lawrence climbed from No. 7 to No. 5 with Wisconsin, Mercyhurst, New Hampshire and Minnesota State rounding out the top-10. The USA Today/American Hockey Magazine poll has St. Lawrence at No. 5 with Wisconsin moving to No. 6 followed by Mercyhurst, Minnesota State and New Hampshire ranked eighth, ninth and 10th, respectively.
The Friars are back in action on Tuesday, November 11 as they host No. 3 Harvard at Schneider Arena in Providence, R.I. at 7:00 p.m.
