PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Providence College men's hockey team is ranked 12th in the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine College poll and 14th in the U.S. College Hockey Online poll, which were released on Monday, November 18.
The Friars posted a 0-2 record last week. PC was defeated by No. 1 Boston College, 6-1, on Tuesday, November 12. The Friars also were defeated, 3-0, at No. 2 New Hampshire on Friday, November 15. With the losses, Providence dropped to 8-3 overall and 3-3 in Hockey East. The Friars were ranked 11th in both polls last week.
Boston College and New Hampshire held on to the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, respectively in both polls. Harvard entered both polls at No. 15 after posting a 2-0 week.
The Friars will return to action on Friday, November 22 against Merrimack at PC's Schneider Arena.
