Providence College - Massachusetts Game Added To Friars' Television Schedule

Providence, R.I. - The Providence College - University of Massachusetts basketball game scheduled for Thursday, December 30th has been added to the Providence College television schedule.
The first meeting between the two schools since November 29, 1980 will be televised on the New England Sports Network (NESN) beginning at 7:30 p.m. John Sanders and Ron Perry will handle the play-by-play and color commentary for the game.
This gives the Friars 16 games that will be televised during the 1999-2000 season via NESN, WJAR-TV 10 in Providence, ESPN or ESPN 2.
