Providence’s Kim English Radio Show To Air On Thursday, October 17 From Union Station Brewery

The show will air from 6-7 p.m. on 630n WPRO and 99.7 FM.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The second season of the Kim English Radio Show will kick-off ahead of the 2024-25 season with a live broadcast from Union Station Brewery at 36 Exchange Terrace in Providence, R.I. The show will air from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 17. The show will air on NewsTalk 99.7 FM and AM 630 WPRO. The Kim English Radio Show is hosted by the long-time voice of the Friars John Rooke and will feature interviews with Friar student-athletes Christ Essandoko and Rich Barron. The show also can be streamed online at www.997wpro.com ,  https://thevarsitynetwork.com/audioapplink/source/oas-1499.and  and will be available on WPRO's podcast website after airing at https://www.997wpro.com/podcasts/.

Fans can catch the Friars in action for the first time of the 2024-25 season when they host an exhibition game versus the University of Massachusetts at the Amica Mutual Pavilion at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26. Tickets for the UMass scrimmage can be purchased at Friars.com or by calling 401-865-GOPC.  The Friars will open the regular season versus Columbia on Monday, November 6 at 7:00 p.m. at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, R.I.

The next Kim English show will be aired live from Audi Warwick on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 6-7 p.m.
