Visiting Team Information
Dear Visiting Team Athletic Trainer,
On behalf of Providence College and our athletic department, we would like to welcome you to the Ocean State. Here is some information that will make your trip as easy as possible.
The following items will be available to you:
Home Team Bench:
- Crutches, splints, AED
Visiting Team Bench:
- Water, cups, towels, injury ice, ice bags and biohazard supplies.
Visiting Team Locker Room:
- Taping table, heat, ice, and ice bags.
If you have any special needs or if you team is not traveling with an ATC, please notify us ahead of time. In addition, please send any taping supplies your team may need along with a written statement indicating parameters for the use of electrical and mechanical modalities for each athlete requiring them in order for the services to be provided in the absence of an ATC.
On campus, the main athletic training room is just outside the doors of Mullaney Gymnasium on the opposite side of the fitness center. The athletic training room for M/W ice hockey and lacrosse is located in the lower level of Schneider Arena. The athletic training rooms will be available at least 1.5 hours prior to competition. If you need access to our facility at an earlier time, please contact the appropriate athletic trainer prior to your visit or make arrangements upon your arrival. If your team is practicing the day/night before a scheduled game, please let us know. We are not always informed by game day operations on pre-day practices.
